PRICE QUOTES AND PRICE MATCHING
-
Price quotes for travel are not guaranteed until reservations are confirmed with full passenger names and deposit payment. All prices are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability. Unless otherwise noted, price quotes typically do not include baggage fees, gratuities, meals, telephone calls, resort fees, incidental items, souvenirs, airport transfers or travel insurance - unless otherwise stated.
-
We work with many travel operators who will match prices. However, each component must be the exactly the same in the quote. It’s better to communicate with us about your research efforts from the beginning so we’re able to assist you in making an informed decision. Working with a travel agent is more beneficial than not working with one for various reasons. Please be advised not all less expensive quotes are good investments.
PASSPORTS & VISAS
It is each traveler's responsibility to have a passport valid for at least 6 months prior to the date of travel and a visa, if required. Some countries require a full blank “VISA” page in the passport for stamping purposes. Any information provided on travel description pertains to U.S. citizens only. NonUS citizens should check with the respective consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements. We strongly suggest all cruise passengers to have a valid passport in their possession while cruising.
For foreign entry requirements, you may find additional information at: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/americans-traveling-abroad.html. For State Department travel advisories, you may find additional information at: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/alertswarnings.html. For foreign health requirements and dangers, you may find additional information at: http://www.cdc.gov/travel/index.htm.
IMPORTANT: Passengers who are not U.S. Citizens must check with the respective consulate or a visa agency to determine what personal identification is required. You may find additional information here. Passengers who enter, leave, and then reenter the same country on their itinerary should check to see if they require a double-entry visa. Passport applications are available at most U.S. Post offices, as well as at regional Passport Agencies.
You can apply or find out more information about passports here. 1st time passport applications are $145.
Travelers requiring visas, whether obtained in advance or locally upon arrival, should ensure that their passport has unstamped visa pages. You can check visa information here

SERVICE FEE (TRIP PLANNING FEE)
Effective September 1, 2018
Planning Fee: A non-refundable, non-transferable planning fee of $35 is required before travel research, quote preparation, and proposal services begin. This fee covers the professional time involved in researching, preparing, and revising travel options.
Each planning fee includes up to four proposals and/or revisions total. Any additional requests, destination changes, or quote revisions beyond that amount will require an additional $35 non-refundable, non-transferable planning fee.
If the traveler books within 3 days of the original quote, the initial planning fee may be applied toward the final balance at the sole discretion of Trippin On Purpose LLC.
PAYMENT DEADLINES & IMPORTANT DATES
Payments: All payments made to Trippin On Purpose LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing. This includes deposits, planning fees, supplier payments, service fees, and other amounts paid toward travel arrangements.
Trippin On Purpose LLC works with third-party suppliers that impose their own cancellation terms, penalties, and restrictions. Traveler understands that once funds are submitted toward a booking, those funds may be subject to supplier penalties and may not be recoverable.
Travel protection is strongly recommended to help protect your investment.
LATE PAYMENTS / CANCELLATION FOR NONPAYMENT
Late Payments: Reservations paid after the final payment due date are subject to a $50 late payment fee per person. This fee is added to the reservation and does not reduce the outstanding balance.
Payments that are 10 days past the final due date, or reservations with no payment made within 90 days of the initial deposit, may be cancelled automatically without refund.
If a reservation is cancelled for nonpayment, all previously paid amounts may be forfeited, subject to supplier terms and conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by either:
-
email to cancellations@trippinonpurpose.com, or
-
the official cancellation request form, if provided.
Cancellation is not effective until received and acknowledged by Trippin On Purpose LLC.
Agency Cancellation Fee:
If Traveler cancels for any reason, Trippin On Purpose LLC will charge a $50 per person cancellation fee, in addition to any supplier-imposed cancellation penalties. This cancellation fee must be paid before cancellation is processed and before any refund documentation, travel credit documentation, or insurance claim documentation is released.
If the required cancellation fee is not paid before the reservation is canceled, and the reservation is subsequently auto-canceled due to nonpayment or supplier action, Trippin On Purpose LLC reserves the right to assess a $200 administrative recovery fee, which may be deducted from any refund, credit, or reimbursement otherwise due to the Traveler, where permitted. Traveler also understands that failure to satisfy required cancellation fees may result in denial of future booking requests and ineligibility to book future travel services through Trippin On Purpose LLC until all outstanding fees have been paid.
If no refund, credit, or reimbursement is available, Traveler remains fully responsible for payment of the cancellation fee and/or any applicable administrative fees. Failure to pay outstanding fees may result in denial of future booking requests, refusal of future services, and collection efforts to the extent permitted by law.
Traveler understands that supplier penalties may be separate from and in addition to Trippin On Purpose LLC’s cancellation fee.
*Airfare is non-refundable after 48-hour booking window.
We are in contractual agreements with vendors and payments after the due dates are in violation of their policy. Once the booking is cancelled by the vendor, it is then cancelled with Trippin on Purpose and all monies may be lost.
Reinstatement of Reservations: If your travel reservations have been cancelled, and you notify us within 10 days that you want to reinstate your reservations, a service reinstatement fee of $100 will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance in order to apply for reconfirmation of services. Reinstatement prices will be at current rate which may be higher or lower than the cancelled rate.
Initial Deposit: Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. All reservations (except where specified) will require a deposit and will be clearly noted the amount due and monthly payment plan.
Monthly Payment: Payments are due each month, depending on your final due date. I understand that I may see charges from Trippin On Purpose, LLC and their Travel Partners and that receipts will be provided to me to confirm that I submitted or authorized payment(s).
Full Payment: All reservations can be paid in full at time of booking. Packages less than 45 days to departure date must be paid in full at time of booking.
Final Due Date: The final due date is the date ALL payments must be made on the reservation, by close of business. If this date is not met, your reservation is subject to late fees and/or immediate cancellation.
If you are enrolled in automatic billing, your payment will be deducted each month in accordance to your invoice schedule. If for any reason the payment is not processed, we will try again in 24-48 hours. If the payment is still not able to be processed, your reservation will be subject to immediate cancellation.
PRICES: All prices listed are per person based upon shared double room occupancy unless otherwise clearly specified. Prices are correct at time of publication; however, as airfares continually fluctuate and classes of service may have limited capacity, tour package prices and availability will change accordingly. In case of human or computer error, Trippin on Purpose reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided Trippin on Purpose receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.
Form of Payment: Trippin On Purpose accepts all major credit or debit cards (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa). No cash is accepted at any time.
Refunds: All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. We have contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way, we can keep our package prices competitive and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation. Travel protection/insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment.
Travel Protection (Insurance):
Travel insurance is highly recommended. Missing a vacation is bad enough but losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip Protection Plan premiums are non- refundable. You can add insurance at the time of your reservation, but if added 7 days after your booking, the coverage is limited. Travel Protection may not be purchased after final payment has been made. If you accept travel insurance, the amount must be added to your initial deposit. You have the option of adding insurance at deposit or securing your own travel insurance.
-
Please be advised that under certain travel protection plans, airline credits, vouchers, or other flight-related benefits may only be available if airfare has been paid in full. If airfare is not paid in full at the time of cancellation, voucher or credit eligibility may be limited or unavailable. When payment plans are offered, suppliers may pay for flights in advance.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents and travel instructions will be sent via email and/or mail 15-30 days or earlier prior to travel. If paper documents are requested when e-documents are available, documents will be delivered via USPS approximately 14-21 days prior, and a fee of $30 will apply. A complete street address is required (no PO boxes).
**CANCELLATIONS WITH INSURANCE**
If your reservation is cancelled and you have purchased insurance, you may be entitled to a refund (in the form of cash or travel credit) minus the cost of insurance. If your flight is non-refundable, the flight portion may be subject to full cancellation or a trip credit. If the hotel is in cancellation penalty, you may be charged for the hotel stay. This depends on how many days your trip is cancelled prior to departure.
If your reservation is cancelled and you have purchased insurance, please refer to the terms of the insurance contract for details.
Once airfare is purchased, airline tickets are issued and are always subject to 100% penalty.
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
Changes to an existing reservation, whatever the cause, will incur a $50 per person change plus any additional supplier fees. This includes name changes* and removal of any services such as optional tours and transfers. *Please note that name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking. Replacing a traveling passenger with another traveling passenger constitutes a cancellation, subject to cancellation penalties, and is not covered by any insurance policy. This cancellation may result in the loss of the deposit.
Changes will not be processed until the $50 per person administrative change fee has been paid. No exceptions.
Changes or additions after departure are subject to local rates at the time of amendment and must be paid directly by the passenger to the service provider. There are no refunds for unused services.
*Due to Vendor(s) policy(ies) or time restraint(s), certain bookings may not be changed. Administrative charges of $50 per change/per person are advised at time of booking, provided to you upon confirmation, and dependent upon circumstances of the request. All desired changes must be sent via email to hello@trippinonpurpose.com
Airline Confirmation , Check-in, Seat Assessment, Missed Flights
It is important that you confirm your flights with the airline prior to departure: 24 hours in advance for domestic flights, and 72 hours in advance for international flights. Failure to confirm international flights or failure to use any portion of an airline reservation may result in automatic cancellation by the airline for all continuing and return flights. You will receive check-in information 24 hours prior to flight departure.
Familiarize yourself with your airline’s policies and requirements before booking. Unless stated otherwise by the airlines, it is important to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure for domestic flights and 3 hours prior to departure for international flights. Late arrival at the airport can result in loss of assigned seats or denial of boarding. Denial of boarding is not eligible for refund or travel insurance reimbursement. Airfare rebooking is subject to airline penalties, rebooking fees, plus any cost difference of the new flight. Seat assignments are subject to change by the airline without notice.
**
Trippin on Purpose is not responsible for the services and policies imposed by the airlines. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. Trippin on Purpose is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic, not issued by Trippin on Purpose due to schedule and/or flight changes. Airline reservations completed online are subject to review and, should Trippin on Purpose deem it necessary, may be rebooked to match minimum connecting time requirements and/or tour package itineraries, in which case you will be notified immediately. Airlines reserve the right to demand immediate issuance of tickets whenever they determine that specific flights are heavily booked even when normal ticketing rules do not require tickets to be issued until a later date. In this instance, Trippin on Purpose will require immediate and full payment of the airfare. This situation overrides invoice terms and conditions and payment due dates. If full payment is not received, seats will be cancelled by the airline and may not be available to be rebooked on the same flights or at the same airfare. Any replacement air arrangements and airfare will be the sole responsibility of the passenger.
Airline Tickets: Once full payment is received; airline tickets will be issued and are fully non-refundable. Should airline tickets require to be issued earlier than the Final Payment due date, you may be required to pay a larger non-refundable deposit and/or complete full payment.
Traveler understands that certain airline credits, vouchers, or insurance-related flight benefits may not be available unless airfare has been paid in full.
Airline Seat Assignments: The airlines bear sole authority of assigning seats on group flights. All Trippin on Purpose LLC airline contracts are for economy class seats only. If you require another class of service, we will make an attempt to secure desired flights with the package or you may consider purchasing your own flights and purchasing your land only package from Trippin on Purpose.
Airline Frequent Flier Programs: Passengers are responsible to contact their airline directly regarding mileage eligibility and accrual. Airline frequent flier programs determine whether to award miles in part or total based on their own rules which are updated frequently. Some discounted or promotional airfares as well as some code- share flights are not eligible for mileage accrual. Some private airfares are not eligible for mileage or may not qualify for reduced mileage, even if the same airline class of service is eligible for full mileage when sold as an "Instant Purchase" published airfare. Not all published airfares are eligible for mileage. Trippin on Purpose will record frequent flier numbers when provided by the passenger prior to travel documents being issued. However, the addition of frequent flier numbers to airline records does not guarantee mileage eligibility which is at the sole discretion of each airline. Airline schedule changes may result in flights which were originally eligible for mileage accrual no longer being eligible. We highly recommend passengers to provide their frequent flier account information whenever checking in online and/or at the airport check-in desk. After travel has commenced, it is often not possible to apply for frequent mileage credit. Passengers are also responsible to determine whether previously earned mileage may be applied to flights to secure upgrades.
Contact Information: Pursuant to TSA Secure Flight requirements, passengers are responsible to provide Trippin on Purpose with their name as it appears on their passport (or other government-issued I.D. when traveling), date of birth, gender, address, phone number, email and fax data for all passengers. Passengers must ensure that names are correctly listed on their invoice. Trippin on Purpose will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive an invoice or documents or are denied boarding due to inaccurate information.
Airline Name Changes: Any name change including minor spelling corrections may require airline reservations to be canceled and rebooked. Reservations are subject to current availability and pricing at the time of rebooking. Once airline tickets are issued, subsequent name corrections will be subject to an airline rebooking fee which may be as much as the full value of the airline ticket plus a $50 revision fee per change. Trippin on Purpose will not be held responsible for the denial of services by a carrier due to any name discrepancy. Name changes must be advised in writing at hello@trippinonpurpose.com
Airline Taxes & Fuel Surcharges: If you purchased airfare, airline taxes and fuel surcharges are included. Prior to completion of full payment there is a potential for a price increase(s) due to increases in government-levied taxes and fees and/or fuel surcharges. To avoid potential increases, you may choose to accelerate your final payment in order that your tickets may be issued. Once issued, airline tickets are no longer subject to potential increases but are fully non-refundable. Certain overseas domestic flights are subject to air taxes which can only be paid locally; in these cases, the specific flights and amounts of those taxes are indicated in our package presentation and pre-departure documentation.
Schedule Changes: In the event of an airline schedule change, Trippin on Purpose will make every effort to inform passengers of the schedule change and new flight schedule prior to departure. Trippin on Purpose is not responsible for schedule changes including, when applicable, changes in routing and/or the number of stops in the itinerary. Trippin on Purpose is unable to provide compensation for schedule changes, seat assignment modifications, or cancellations implemented by an airline. In the event of any change in flight itinerary made directly between passengers and their airline, it is the passengers' responsibility to advise Trippin on Purpose of amended flight details in writing at hello@trippinonpurpose.com. Trippin on Purpose cannot be held responsible for land services, including arrival and/or departure transfers, if flights are changed without its knowledge.
FORCE MAJEURE
There may be times when either party are unable to perform, or complete performance, under the travel contract for reasons out of each other’s control. These are called force majeure events and if occurs, make performing under the contract inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible. Events that may trigger this provision include, but are not limited to, acts of God, acts of government, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolts, military action, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, or the threat thereof, pandemics, epidemics, illnesses or health conditions prevalent in the area of travel, earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning, and explosions, unexpected legislation, or any other event outside the reasonable control of either party.
In the event that a force majeure event occurs, the parties will look to and follow the cancellation policies of the suppliers, what is stated in the travel proposal and these terms & conditions. Any changes to those policies are at the sole discretion of the supplier (if applicable) and Travel Agency. Passenger will be informed of their options if a force majeure event occurs.
HEALTH / ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Traveler understands that health-related travel requirements may change at any time. This may include testing, vaccination, screening, or other destination and supplier rules. Traveler is responsible for checking and complying with all current requirements before departure and during travel. Trippin On Purpose LLC is not responsible for costs, denied boarding, denied entry, delays, or losses resulting from a traveler’s failure to meet those requirements.
CHARGEBACKS:
By submitting payment, Traveler confirms that all charges authorized for planning services, cancellation fees, change fees, deposits, balance payments, and booked travel services are valid and authorized under these Terms.
Traveler agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for valid and authorized charges, including but not limited to the $35 planning fee, the $50 per person cancellation fee, the $50 per person change fee, supplier deposits, approved payment plan charges, final balance payments, and non-refundable travel services.
Before filing a dispute with a bank or credit card company, Traveler agrees to contact Trippin On Purpose LLC at hello@trippinonpurpose.com to attempt account resolution.
If Traveler files a chargeback or payment dispute for any valid authorized charge, Trippin On Purpose LLC may suspend or cancel current reservations, terminate services, deny future bookings, remove Traveler from any current or future group trip, and pursue recovery of amounts owed, including non-refundable supplier charges, administrative costs, merchant processing penalties, collection costs, and any legal fees permitted by law.
Traveler understands that filing a chargeback may result in immediate cancellation of travel arrangements and forfeiture of participation in the trip related to that disputed charge, whether the chargeback is won or lost.
